Building EcoBlade meant prioritizing ease of use and flexibility. We started with in-depth user interviews to understand homeowners’ pain points around scheduling, service quality, and eco-options. Using an agile workflow, our team iterated rapidly on wireframes and prototypes, testing flows for booking frequency, service customization, and provider selection. Each sprint incorporated direct feedback from early adopters, ensuring the final UI felt natural, responsive, and aligned with real-world lawn care scenarios.

The completed EcoBlade app offers a cohesive, user-centric experience homeowners open the app, specify their lawn’s size and needs, and choose from a menu of sustainable services. Electric mower crews, organic treatment plans, and eco-conscious fertilizer applications are clearly highlighted alongside traditional options. Users receive real-time updates on crew arrival and service completion, and can chat directly with providers to fine-tune instructions. This streamlined process not only saves time but also fosters trust and encourages greener lawn care habits.
